38. Thief

Despite some middling reviews, Eidos Montreal’s Thief was the top-selling game across all formats in the UK according to the latest UKIE Game Charts, courtesy of Gfk Chart Track.

Other new entries included PopCap Interactive’s Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, which is only available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 as of now. Count that as a victory for Microsoft, especially since no PS4 exclusives were in the top ten for the past week.

The Lego Movie Videogame moved down to second place while FIFA 14 was at third. Grand Theft Auto V has finally dropped out of the top five (and ten) and is now in 11th place, with Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, LEGO Marvel Superheroes, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 rounding out the top ten.

Other new entries include Tales of Symphonia: Chronicles which debuted at thirteenth place. Stay tuned for the week after next when Titanfall debuts in the UK.
