Shades of Dark
Naughty Dog truly nailed the lighting and shadows in Uncharted 4. From a brilliant, bold sun shining down upon our adventurer capturing every feature to revealing the darker side of virtually realistic shadows covering just the right amount of space in any given region. Controlling an tension and ambiance in any given game requires not only gripping music, majestic set pieces, and all the right locations, but also a well lit or well darkened environment. With the trailer taking place in a well lit environment that looks warm and sunny, one can feel the cool, relaxing breath hidden amongst the shadows.
