Unicorn Overlord

Atlus and Vanillaware’s upcoming tactics RPG Unicorn Overlord has looked increasingly promising in the lead-up to its release, and excitement is high with its launch now mere days away. Now, it’s also been announced that those who want to dip their toes in the water and get a taste of the game before its release have the chance to do so.

A free demo of Unicorn Overlord has been released for the Nintendo Switch, as announced during the recent Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. Details on exactly how large the demo will be and what content will be included weren’t revealed, but it’s been confirmed that your save data from the demo will carry over into the full game, in case you don’t want to start over (which means the demo will cover the game’s beginning).

PlayStation and Xbox players will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the demo. It launches for PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X/S on February 23.

A new trailer has also been released, offering more glimpses at the game, its world, its cast of characters, and its combat. Check it out below.

Unicorn Overlord launches on March 8 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
