EA had more than just its blockbuster IPs to showcase during its E3 media briefing. It also showcased a brand new IP with Unravel, a game that features a small protagonist with a giant heart. The character is made of yarn and named Yarney, who comes undone as he moves across the world. Yarney is quite interesting in how he uses his body to get across obstacles.
From simply swinging across gaps to hooking up to a kite and flying through the skies, the game also boasts a relaxing aesthetic and score. It’s intriguing for sure and hopefully will avoid the frustration that Ori and the Blind Forest brought upon us.
Unravel’s release date and platforms haven’t been revealed yet but we’ll update you as more information becomes available. Stay tuned for more as we continue to cover EA’s E3 2015 media briefing and let us know what you think of Unravel in the comments below.
