We reported before that the inventive side scrolling beat em up, Unruly Heroes, was coming to PS4 after being available on other platforms for some time. It’s out now, and along with it came a new update that added several features to the game. Now, all the other platforms get in on the fun as well, as the Challenge Update is live across everything.
Unruly Heroes is a co-op brawler that’s based on the Chinese epic, Journey to the West, where you can play with up to four players with characters from the novel. You can look at the trailer announcing the update below to get a look at the game’s fun and unique art style. The Challenge update adds two new difficulty levels (Easy and Hard), various stat tracking for speedruns, and the ability to modify controls.
Unruly Heroes is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The Challenge Update is live now across all of those platforms.
