Sony’ve done a generally poor job of communicating which games will end up supporting their new PS4 Pro console- but the general assumption has been that first party games, at least, will all be supporting the new, more powerful console. However, it looks like there are exceptions to that, as well- for instance, the cult hit horror game Until Dawn will not be enhanced for the PS4 Pro, developer Supermassive Games have revealed.
Supermassive confirmed this on their Twitter– and it does come as a bit of a shame, especially since the game could benefit from greater visual clarity. However, it is to be remembered that they are a small outfit, and are probably all working on their next game, whatever that happens to be, at the moment.
Those looking for a visually enhanced Until Dawn experience can always play Rush of Blood, the spin off released for the PlayStation VR recently- PSVR games do perform better on the PS4 Pro, so Pro owners will find their enhanced Until Dawn experience there.
