The latest weekly issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu is out, and through it, developer Compile Heart have revealed that they will be releasing an all new RPG exclusively for the PS4 soon enough.

Called *ω*Quintet, or Omega Quintet, the game’s being tagged by the devs as a fantasy Idol RPG and will be released under the Galapagos banner on September 18 for the PS4 in Japan.

The game follows the story of idols who are about to meet a mysterious creature or power that goes by the name of “beep”. This power has the capability to destroy the minds of people, and, in fact, the entire world.

A picture of the game’s announcement in the magazine is given above as well. You can see look at it and get an idea of what the characters in the game look like. The characters in this game, by the way, are being designed by Fukahire.

There’s no word on a western release yet, but we’ll keep our eyes and ears open. So stay tuned.
