Developer Stunlock Studios has released the full gameplay trailer for upcoming V Rising content update Secrets of Gloomrot. The trailer, slated for release on the game’s first anniversary on May 17, will feature improved castle building, expanded combat mechanics, and the addition of the Gloomrot biome. The new Gloomrot biome will be one of the game’s larger regions, and players will get the chance to fight against mutated experiments and mechanical creations. Players will be able to also get their hands on lightning powers, allowing them to advance further through the tech tree.
The combat system will see the addition of new weapon types and a new spell school. Players will now also be able to take on 13 new bosses and 30 new enemy types.
Alongside the biome, the biggest update to V Rising as part of Secrets of Gloomrot is the ability for players to now build multiple floors for their castles. This will now allow players to model their dwellings in V Rising to closer resemble the castles that vampires are traditionally depicted to live in.
