Valkyria Chronicles 4 Gameplay Trailer Debuts The Cruiser, New Features

Sega debuted some new gameplay for the upcoming Valkyria Chronicles 4 in the midst of a recent livestream in Tokyo. Along with several gameplay elements, we get a look at the cruiser dubbed “Snow Cruiser Centurion”. Check it out below.

Along with new map mechanics like Ragnite boxes, avalanches and whatnot, we also get a brief look at how engineers will be able to open the way for new areas by, say, repairing stairs. The new grenadier class is also shown along with progression, dedicated ship orders, conducting radar sweeps with the cruiser and how to deal with units that go down. If that weren’t enough, Sega is promising that all your squad members can have dedicated side missions.

If you were looking to customize your tank, you’re in luck – stickers are back including one of Ragnarok, Squad E’s mascot. The Cruiser can also be customized and will help you fight. Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be out for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch in 2018. Japan will receive it on March 21st 2018 for PS4 with a Nintendo Switch version coming in the Summer.
