Valkyria Chronicles 4_01

We’ve already been able to see quite a bit of Valkyria Chronicles 4, and the game is now available to pre-order as well. Furthermore, the game’s Steam store page is now live, which means we finally get to see the official system requirements for the it, which are certainly not very demanding.

As of now, only the minimum requirements have been revealed and they’re not very high, meaning that even a relatively old system will be able to run it. The only part of the requirements that’s surprising is the storage requirement of 71 GB. This may be because of high-resolution textures, as the PS4 version of the game only came up to 26.9 GB. We also learn that the game is optimized for the PC and that it will support 4K resolution and also ultra-widescreen monitors. This means that the definitive way to play the game just might be on a PC.

You can check out the system requirements for the game below. It should be noted that recommended system requirements for the game haven’t been revealed yet. Valkyria Chronicles 4 is set to release for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 25.

Minimum Requirements:

  • OS: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i3 6100 or equivalent AMD
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 650Ti 2GB
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Storage: 71 GB available space
