Gearing up for the upcoming release in excellent fashion.

Valkyria Chronicles 4

Sega’s Valkyria Chronicles 4, the fourth entry in their beloved turn based strategy RPG series, and the first to release on a home console since the original PS3 game, is almost here for us folks in the west. Ahead of that, Sega has released a brand new trailer for the game, which shows off the new “Prologue” trailer for the game in English.

Sega really is going all in on the localization for this game- the western release of the game includes English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish subs as well as full English voice acting, which should help the game manage to get a market for itself in Europe, where Japanese games famously do well if properly localized. From the sounds of things, judging by the trailer, it seems like the actual voice work in English is pretty great and high quality as well- I just hope that the game maintains the standard of excellent localizations Sega are usually known for.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 launches on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 25, and on PC on September 24.
