RPG fans have quite a lot to look forward to in the next few months, and a decent chunk of that is down to Square Enix, with the Japanese publisher having a number of upcoming games in the pipeline. One of them is Valkyrie Elysiumsomething of a surprise revival for a fan-favourite dormant franchise that’s due out later next month. And it seems like before it launches, players will be able to get a smaller taste of what it’ll have on offer.

As spotted by @PlaystationSize on Twitter – a page that routinely tracks the PlayStation Network backend and updates made to it – a demo for Valkyrie Elysium recently popped on the online service. Square Enix has yet to make an official announcement regarding this, but given the fact that the company has generally been releasing demos for the vast majority of its upcoming games for some time now, this doesn’t come as much of a surprise. It remains to be seen when this will be officially announced.

Valkyrie Elysium is due out for PS5 and PS4 on September 29, and for PC on November 11.
