Riot Games’ highly anticipated tactical shooter Valorant is now in closed beta. Only a select few were chosen for beta access but watching drop-enabled streams on Twitch could net you a key. Emphasis on “Could” since there over 1.6 million viewers in the directory currently.
The beta isn’t without its issues though. Reported issues include timeouts with Riot Games advising players not to keep logging in. In its most recent tweet, the developer said it’s working on a fix for issues and noted that, “You may see some errors or delays when trying to log in, join parties, invite to parties, entering queue, or finding matches. Getting this fixed ASAP and will update this thread when things are smooth.”
Valorant is currently in development in PC with plans to release this Summer. It will have a free to play model and sees two teams of five agents each either eliminating each other or planting a Spike/bomb. Much like Counter-Strike: GO, teams must either plant a Spike or defend a point against it. An interesting twist is that all agents have their own unique abilities and Ultimates which can turn the tide. Stay tuned for more details on the game in the coming months.
Seeing an issue with number of logins on a specific service, and that's causing errors down the line (particularly timeouts). The best solve is for us to fix it, so don't keep trying to relog – we're on it, one sec!

We're still working on a fix. You may see some errors or delays when trying to log in, join parties, invite to parties, entering queue, or finding matches. Getting this fixed ASAP and will update this thread when things are smooth.
