Valve Is Making Three New Full VR Games

THREE new games... THREE...

Posted By | On 10th, Feb. 2017

Valve hasn’t actually made a brand new game in a while- DOTA 2‘s release was quite a while ago, and since then, the most we’ve got out of Valve in way of a new packaged product has been the free Portal themed tech demo for HTC Vive that they released last year, The Lab.

However, right now, Valve is apparently working on three new full games for VR- Valve’s founder Gabe Newell who confirmed to Eurogamer that the games in question will be full fledged experiences, rather than tech demos like The Lab was. “When I say we’re building three games, we’re building three full games, not experiments,” he said.

He didn’t share any more information on the games, though he did confirm they are being built in Source 2 engine, as well as Unity. As for what these games could be… well, there are three of them, so- Portal 3, Left 4 Dead 3, and Half Life 3 confirmed?
