Valve only interested in consoles and PC

Many of you might be holding hopes that Valve will announce Portal Vita or something like that one of these days. Well, you can forget all about it. Valve is not interested in making games for handheld systems or mobiles. Valve is all about consoles and PC.

When asked byKotaku about the same, write Chet Faliszek said, “We’re about people sitting on their couches or at their desks.”

“We haven’t forayed into that space,” Faliszek went on, clarifying any doubts.

“It’s just not a space our engine has been looked at or optimized for,” he added.  So you can forget all about Half Life being ported over to the 3DS, or seeing a Portal Vita, or seeing Steamworks support for any handheld. Oh well…
