Valve To Support Rubles On Steam

Posted By | On 13th, Sep. 2011

Valve have announced support for Rubles, the currency of Russia, on Steam.

With millions of players in Russia already using Steam, adding Rubles and local pricing for Russia will make Steam’s catalog of PC and Mac games even more accessible. Prior to the addition of Rubles, Steam was available in Russia with support for other payment methods such as WebMoney, Visa, Mastercard and ClickandBuy.

“PC Gaming has always been strong in Russia, and we’re excited to help improve the experience for Steam customers.” said Jason Holtman, Director of Business Development “We’re hoping to make gamers happy over the coming months by improving their access to great games.”
