Of all the titles we expected to see at Xbox 20/20, Hardsuit Labs’ Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 was the least expected. Originally meant to release earlier this year, the RPG was delayed to an unknown date later this year. While said date is still unknown, we did get to see the game optimized for Xbox Series X via a new trailer.

The trailer showcases new gameplay, particiularly the combat which allows you to batter foes to bits. Want to grab a weapon from an opponent’s hand and bash them with it? Go ahead. Different interactions and the game’s overall tone are also shaping up to be very good.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. With this announcement, it’s safe to assume that a PS5 version is in the works along with Xbox Series X. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime as Inside Xbox rolls on.
