The challenges just couldn't sustain our interest. We need more in the main story mode

The biggest criticism levelled at Vanquish was its length, and it is something that sadly plagues a lot of single player action games these days. With only a challenge mode to extend its longevity, Vanquish didn’t really offer good value for money as a whole package. If Platinum Games can extend the campaign length (without letting the story overstay its welcome of course,) then players may not feel as bitter about forking over the RRP for Vanquish 2.
