3. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
The fifth iteration in the Donkey Kong series is a Wii U exclusive and is sure to make you visit your childhood memories anew, with tonnes of added fun. This time Donkey Kong is faced with Snowmads, a bunch of frantic Viking creatures, that invade and freeze Donkey Kong island. The game largely maintains the game mechanics used in Donkey Kong Returns but gets an ample serving of giddiness to it. The game has Donkey Kong barrelling through a number stages – tropical, underwater and frozen – to reclaim his home with copious amounts of cannoning, flying, jumping, rolling, enemy-crunching, ground-thumping and barrel blasting with the peppy music to make you exclaim with joy. The game also has some changes in perspective as you play through the game which will add to the experience. With Diddy, Dixie and even Cranky Kong assisting Donkey Kong as playable characters, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is bound to take fun to the next level.
