Dead Space developer Visceral Games has been in the news recently after analyst Michael Pachter named them as the studio working on a military-based shooter for EA (possible the next Battlefield or an off-shoot of the franchise). Now, it seems that the developer is seeking employees via job listings through EA’s official site for an “exciting new IP.”

The most recent listing is for an environmental artist, with another one listing a requirement for a technical art director. “Seeking a highly motivated Environment Artist for the Visceral Redwood Shores studio. This is a major opportunity to greatly contribute creatively to an exciting new IP.” As of now, no other details are provided.

As of now, we know that Visceral Games is working on a Star Wars game for next-gen consoles as part of EA’s agreement with Disney Interactive. Could this new IP indeed be the military-based shooter Pachter was talking about? Stay tuned in the coming year for an announcement.
