Volition’s Steve Jaros, who has worked as creative director for the company on Saints Row The Third, Saints Row IV (including the upcoming port) and Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, is leaving the company to work with Valve Software.

Sharing the news on Twitter, Jaros stated that, “The past 10 years at Volition have been life changing. I’ve gotten to work with amazing people and made friends that will last a lifetime. I’m super proud of the work we did on Saints Row, and am excited for what Volition does in the future, but it’s time for me to move on. I’m looking forward to new adventures at Valve Software.”

Jaros hasn’t revealed what he’ll be working on or in what position at Valve Software but it’s a momentous leap to be sure. Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell will be out on January 27th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC.
