The much anticipated remaster will be a bit longer.

Warcraft 3 Reforged

It’s fair at this point, I think, to say that the Warcraft franchise will always be tied to World of Warcraft because of its eternal place in gaming culture, but it didn’t start as a MMORPG. Many hardcore fans know that the Warcraft series was an established RTS one long before there ever was a WoW and Blizzard was finally acknowledging that with Warcraft 3: Reforged. But it seems fans will have to wait just a tad longer.

The game is a remaster of Warcraft 3 and was said to be out by the end of the year. Well, we’re about a good stone’s throw to the year’s end with no date in sight. And now Blizzard has official announced via their website that the game won’t make it out by 2019’s end and will come early next year, saying the game needs just a little extra time in the oven.

Warcraft 3: Reforged will now launch January 28th, 2020 on PC. For a look at some gameplay for the upcoming release, take a look through here.
