Digital Extremes announced earlier this month that their massively popular free-to-play loot-driven action RPG Warframe would be receiving a dedicated next-gen port soon, and the release date for that – at least on the PS5 – has now been announced.

Warframe will release for the PS5 just two days from now, on Thursday, November 26. As previously announced, the game will run in 4K at 60 frames per second, feature support for the DualSense’s adaptive triggers, as well as the PS5’s Activities UI feature. Cross-gen multiplayer across the PS4 and PS5 will also be supported.

Whether Warframe will release on the same date for Xbox Series X/S as well remains to be seen. Official details on the same haven’t yet been revealed, but we’ll keep you updated should that change. Whenever it does release, just like the PlayStation version, it will feature support for cross-gen multiplayer.

Warframe is currently available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
