The major update for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide that, among other things, brings a major overhaul to the game’s classes, is out now on PC. Alongside the release of the update, the game’s Xbox Series X/S version has also been released.

The update to Warhammer 40,000: Darktide introduces new skill trees for all four of the game’s playable classes, offering players with more chances for customisation and specialisation depending on their character. The studio has previously offered up a deep dive into the new skill trees, along with showing off some of the key new talents and skills players will able to grab as they level up.

The Xbox Series X/S version of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will feature the class overhaul patch right from the get go. The game is available in two editions on Xbox, and is also available to play on Xbox Game Pass from day one. The PC and Xbox versions of Darktide also feature crossplay.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide was released last year on PC, with development issues forcing the studio to delay the planned Xbox Series X/S release to today. Check out our review of the game’s PC release version.
