Saber Interactive promised a “large-scale” update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 to celebrate its first anniversary, and it wasn’t kidding. The Anniversary update launches on September 4th and includes plenty of new content. Check out the trailer below.
The new PvP mode, Helbrute Onslaught, will be introduced alongside a new competitive arena, but PvE players also have something to look forward to. Three new weapons, a new mode called Stratagems, and a new Majoris enemy, Chaos Spawn, will be added. There’s also a new PvE mission to look forward to.
If that wasn’t enough, players receive the Chaos Armor Pack for free. Season Pass 2 owners get the Black Templars Champion Pack and Imperial Fists Cosmetic Pack. It will also likely introduce various changes, balance adjustments and other features.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our review of the launch version here. It reached seven million players as of last June, and a sequel, Space Marine 3, is in the works.
