Warriors Orochi 4 Confirmed For Western Launch This Year

Warriors reassemble for Warriors Orochi 4 in 2018.

Tecmo Koei announced Warriors Orochi 4 within Japan just yesterday, and today they’re following up with a confirmation that it will be westbound this year as well.  Warriors Orochi 4 marks yet another entry of what is ultimately their cross over series. Warriors Orochi takes characters from Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, and puts them in a more fantastical setting against impossible odds, trying to defeat vicious and challenging enemies.

The same teaser trailer was released for the west today, though it unfortunately tells us exactly nothing about the game, and whether it’s going to stick to the tried and true formula of previous titles, or if it will be based off of the more open design of Dynasty Warriors 9. The company also did not revealed what platforms the game will release on although PS4, Xbox One and PC seems to be a safe bet.

You can find the trailer just below, and Gamingbolt’s thoughts on Dynasty Warriors 9 here.
