Wasteland 2 Unity 5

With a release of last year’s critically acclaimed PC exclusive hit revival, Wasteland 2, impending for consoles, publisher Deep Silver and developer inXile have been trying to get console gamers on board with the idea of a classic, straight up cRPG. This new video, which you can see below, is their latest attempt- it attempts to introduce the world and mechanics of Wasteland 2 to newcomers.

Brian Fargo, inXile CEO, offers insight into the ripple effect that each choice you make with your squad of Desert Rangers has on the gameplay and the immense depth the game offers, producing a totally unique play through experience. Along the way, he highlights the game’s turn based battle system, and also points out the game’s critically acclaimed writing.

You can see the video for yourself below. Wasteland 2, meanwhile, will be launching on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 13 in North America, and on October 16 worldwide.
