Watch Dog Shots in 2K Resolution Rendered at 4K Look Rather Stunning

The jury is no longer out on this one.

Watch Dogs is almost here, and at this point, we know there have been enough leaks that anything we see about the game is almost certainly legitimate. One thing about the game that draws mixed reactions is its graphics- the entire controversy about the perceived downgrade of its visuals aside, there is little denying the fact that the game certainly doesn’t look as impressive now as it did back when it first debuted.

Having said that, even the most jaded cynic will probably do a double take at these Watch Dogs screenshots being rendered in 4k resolution (although their native resolution seems to be 2K); taken from the PC build of the game, running on Ultra settings, they include SMAA, 16x Anisotropic Filtering Forced and Config Tweak, and were taken on a rig with 3930K 4.8GHz, GTX 780 Tri-SLI.

So basically, unless you spend a ridiculous amount of money on your gaming PC, you might as well give up any idea of running the game that well.
