Well this was a given.

LinkedIn profiles of Ubisoft employees have revealed Watch_Dogs and Assassin’s Creed 4 for the Xbox 720. It specifically said Xbox 720 which gives rise to the doubts that it could be indeed called with that name.

Microsoft has all the reasons to name it Xbox 720 and considering most gaming outlets have been calling the next Xbox with that word and the fact that Google has thousands of entries indexed, it could turn out to be the thing that convinces the company to stick to one name.

The PS4 was also called the same name so Sony does have an advantage here due to the earlier coverage it received for the console based on that name.

The profiles are of Ubisoft gameplay programmer Paolo Maninetti and marketing artist Phil Brolles. They both had that Xbox 720 name on their resumes.
