We Happy Few

Compulsion Games’ We Happy Few is heading to the PlayStation 4 on April 13th 2018 thanks to the developer partnering with Gearbox Publishing. Taking place in a 1960s alternate timeline and town called Wellington Wells, players must deal with citizens taking a pill called Joy to forget about a traumatic incident that occurred at one point.

There are three different citizens to play as and players can battle enemies, employ stealth or even take some Joy to blend in with the crowd. Resources can be scavenged in the meantime to proceed further though the procedurally generated world ensures you won’t see the same thing twice.

We Happy Few will cost $59.99 when it launches on PS4 and pre-ordering nets you an in-game Jolly Brolly parasol for fighting. There’s also the Deluxe Edition which contains the Season Pass, which will bring three DLC packs to the game as they release. There’s also the Collector’s Set which comes with a Replica Bobby Mask,a “You Look Smashing” 3-Tiered Lamp, Uncle Jack Alarm Clock and the game’s soundtrack on Vinyl, all for $149.99.
