Weird West

When a team comprised of former Arkane Studios dev tell you they’re making a new immersive sim, you pay attention. WolfEye Studios’ Weird West has looked like an exciting prospect since the moment it was first announced, and with its complex immersive sim gameplay, action RPG mechanics, and a fascinating setting that blends the wild west with dark fantasy, it certainly seems to be offering a kind of experience that not many other games do.

A Fall 2021 launch window has been announced for the game for a while at this point, but with 2021 drawing to a close, some have wondered whether the game is going to be delayed soon. We’ll find out soon enough, it seems. Judging by developer WolfEye Studios’ cheeky Twitter activity, it seems the a release date for Weird West will be announced soon. How soon? There’s no telling- but it seems we won’t have to wait too long to find out exactly when we’ll be able to play the game. Here’s hoping it’s out before the end of the year.

Whenever it launches, Weird West will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
