There is a reference to Star Wars: A New Hope in Dragon Age Origins
There are a lot of references of awesome movies in Dragon Age Origins and it wouldn’t be complete without a Star Wars reference. For example upon unlocking the door to free Anora (who is dressed in armor), you can comment: “Aren’t you a little short for a guard?” This is a reference to Star Wars: A New Hope, when Leia sees Luke in a similar situation. And further on, After defeating Loghain’s men in Dane’s Refuge, the player can tell the barkeep is, “Sorry about the mess.” This is another nod to A New Hope, in which Han Solo delivers the same line to the bartender.
