Varric is the only companion who cannot have crisis points and leave the group
No matter what you do or how you talk to Varric he is the only companion in Dragon Age 2 who will not leave and stay true to the Champion. Every other party member could turn against you or leave if you rub them the wrong way, but Varric stays faithful to you, no matter what. Of course this could be largely due to Varric’s role in the game’s storyline and as well as his upcoming role in Inquisition.
