Developer Pasquale Scionti took to the stage during Future Game Show Summer Showcase 2025 to show off a new trailer for its survival horror game Whispers in the Fog. The trailer, which you can check out below, largely focuses on giving us an idea of the general vibes.
According to the trailer, the core gameplay of Whispers in the Fog will largely revolve around trying to figure out what is happening around you. The player will wake up in a forest with no idea of where they are, and little in the way of tools to help the player get their bearings.
Along with a flashlight, the only real guidance the player will have will be strange whispers from the forest around them that might help or hinder their attempts to get through alive. The ultimate goal in Whispers in the Fog is to try and get back home, wherever that might be.
Whispers in the Fog is coming to PC, and is being developed in Unreal Engine 5.
