Wii U Games Line Up For 2015 Is Nothing Short of Spectacular

It's got the best library on the market, and it doesn't look like that will change in 2015 either.

Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem

At this point, Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem is almost like Nintendo’s The Last Guardian. It was announced nearly two years ago in the January Nintendo Direct as a game in progress, with a quick teaser trailer that hyped up the concept and showed us nothing, and then… it disappeared. We haven’t seen or heard of the game since, outside of a shaky reassurance by developers Intelligent Systems back in June that they are still working on it.

So, why are we hyped up about this game at all? Simply because of how amazing it has the potential of being. Shin Megami Tensei is amazing. Fire Emblem is amazing. Atlus is awesome. Intelligent Systems is awesome. When all of these come together for one game? Man, you can be sure the result will be something special entirely.

We’ve heard some things about the game- it’s supposed to be a more modern take on Fire Emblem, and it somehow mixes the gameplay styles of the two franchises, but we’re completely in the dark on everything else. Here’s hoping that Nintendo tells us more about the game in 2015, and that it miraculously manages to release then as well.
