Windows Game Bar Adds Various New Widgets with Latest Update

New update brings music, memes, and more to Windows gaming.

The Windows Game Bar got an update today that adds a variety of features, including access to Spotify to easily control your music while gaming, a Meme Maker, a system that allows you to instantly turn game screenshots into memes, and new features with a new way to interact with your Xbox Live friends.

The Game Bar is for those who play on Windows 10, of course, and you can access it by pressing the Windows key + G. The bar lets you record footage, take screenshots, and adjust various settings.

It’s not just for those gaming on Windows 10 Store either- you can do this on any launcher as long as you’re on a Windows 10 device. You can see a breakdown of the new update through here, as provided by Microsoft. The features are in beta now. Your system will need to be at build 17763 or higher to access these features, while you will also need to download the Xbox Insider Hub.
