Announced a little over a couple of years ago, Galvanic Games and Devolver Digital’s co-op sandbox survival title Wizard with a Gun has shown a lot of promise each time it’s been shown off, and after recently confirming that the game would indeed launch this year, Devolver has now announced a firm release date.
Wizard with a Gun will launch on October 17 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. As previously confirmed, a Nintendo Switch version of the survival title is still in the pipeline, though there’s no word yet on when it will be out.
Those who pre-order the game will also get access to the Noble Wizard cosmetic pack, which includes a bonus hat, the Jester outfit, and the Wizard King outfit.
Meanwhile, to go along with the game’s release date announcement, developer Galvanic Games has once again made a single player demo available on Steam until September 6. “The full game will have 2 player co-op and way more depth in gameplay systems,” the developer says. “More monsters, more biomes, more blueprints, more crafting, and most importantly more wizards and more guns!”
