Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Guide – Best Location to Farm Genuine Qi, Copper, and More

Want to become overpowered quickly and don't mind some farming? Here's a great place to earn Genuine Qi, Copper, and more.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty (6)

As you progress through Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, you’ll notice that the enemies slain and Genuine Qi earned isn’t quite enough. You’ll gain a few level-ups quickly in the early going, but this quickly peters out as time goes by and more experience is required.

Don’t worry – much like in Nioh 1 and 2, there’s a place to farm lots of Genuine Qi for leveling up. It’s also good for earning Copper to purchase upgrades at the Blacksmith and can level up your allies (who can provide different benefits as their bonds become stronger).

How to Farm Infinite Genuine Qi and Copper

First, head to Darkness Over the Hansui River, a Main Battlefield which requires you to be level 49. After the third Battle Flag, you’ll see a crocodile-like demon. It’s a larger enemy than most others, and if your Morale is high enough, it goes down without too much trouble. Return to the Battle Flag to respawn it and then slay it again. Rinse and repeat for lots of Genuine Qi and Copper.

The key to this is having Genuine Qi Obtention on your gear, which increases the amount of Genuine Qi earned. About 52 percent of Genuine Qi Obtention nets over 10,000 Genuine Qi with each kill. Given that it only takes a few seconds, it’s a great way to level up fast.

How to Farm Jewel Fragments

Jewel Fragments are necessary for Embedment, which removes a stat from a piece of armor or weapon and replaces it with a jewel containing a desired stat. Farming Jewel Fragments is pretty easy – Salvage any unwanted gear/weapons. Farming in the above mission should get enough excess gear and weapons.

While some items won’t give Jewel Fragments, the sheer amount of loot received throughout the game will ensure you have a health supply for Embedment. Ensure you’re salvaging these at the Blacksmith instead of selling or outright disposing of them.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out our review here for more details.
