We also get to see the locations in the game, plus the survivors in each.

World War Z

World War Z is all about fighting off hordes of zombies and the undead, so it is heartening to see the game of the same name, which is due out next month, will be placing the emphasis squarely on them. In a brand new developer diary chronicling the developers’ focus of the title, Saber Interactive talk about the zombie hordes in the game, which can sometimes have as many as 500 zombies at once. Whew, lad.

We also get to see three separate locations in the game (Jerusalem, New York, Moscow), and the best part is, each location has its own unique set of survivors, which should add for a lot of variety when you play the game. It seems like the kind of game that would just be perfect for co-op, which of course this game is.

There’s a whole bunch of gameplay footage to see in this video too, with the emphasis mostly being on the zombies, as I mentioned before. Check it out for yourself below. World War Z launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16.
