Wu-Tang Rise of the Deceiver

Remember that Xbox-exclusive action RPG based on the Wu-Tang Clan rumored years ago? Brass Lion Entertainment finally revealed it at Summer Game Fest, albeit for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store (which it’s also publisher). Check out the first trailer below.

Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver sees the iconic hip-hop collective captured by the Deceiver. As a new warrior guided by Ghostface Killah, players traverse a dreamworld called the Medium and utilize their powers to fight the Deceiver’s armies with up to three-player co-op. Your fighting style improves by utilizing Jewels, which comes in handy as the difficulty of various Chambers rises.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Wu-Tang Clan game without classic tracks from the group (with producer Just Blaze overseeing the composition). There are new tunes, and the soundtrack changes dynamically based on the gameplay. Customization goes beyond combat, allowing players to express different fashion styles for their character.

Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver doesn’t have a release date yet, so stay tuned for more details.
