WWE 2K15

While every WWE game from Yuke’s and now Visual Concepts has featured some kind of grand sweeping campaign mode, WWE 2K15 will take a more personal approach in the new 2K Showcase Mode. You’ll essentially be going through famous rivalries which will be told through matches, cinematics, archival footage and much more.

Thus far, only two rivalries will be available at launch, namely that of Triple H and Shawn Michaels from 2002 to 2004 and the rivalry between John Cena and CM Punk that began in 2011 and stretched till the end of 2013. You’ll have historical objectives to complete which leads to new characters, title belts, and much more for use throughout the game.

Chris Snyder, vice president of marketing at 2K, stated that, “These two rivalries are firmly etched in WWE history, and 2K Showcase enables fans to take part in those memorable experiences.”

As well as re-enacting classic matches, players will have the option to complete optional historical objectives that will in turn unlock new characters, titles, and other goods, all of which can be used in the game’s other modes.

Executive Vice President for Talent, Live Events and Creative Paul “Triple H” Levesque also stated that, “2K Showcase brings WWE to life in a way our fans have never seen before through a video game.”

Though there are only two rivalries at launch, more rivalries will be added via DLC. WWE 2K15 is out on October 28th for PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
