While the official reveal for the game won’t come until later today, over the weekend, the first trailer for WWE 2K20 leaked online. While it was one of the signature live action trailers that showed no gameplay, it did reveal who would be on the cover as well as the game’s release date. Shortly afterward, we also got this year’s big collector’s edition leaked, thanks to Wal-Mart.
The trailer, which you can see below (as uploaded by Botch Dallas), features a host of current and former male wrestling stars at what looks to be a high class party, when female superstar Becky Lynch bursts in through the glass ceiling above to shocked reactions. We then see the game’s release date and the cover, which feature two stars this year, with Lynch and Roman Reigns.
If that wasn’t enough of a leak, Wal-Mart also let the game’s collector edition leak on their site. It will be a Smackdown! themed box which will include late pioneer women’s wrestler, Chyna (for the first time in WWE 2K history), the return of Hulk Hogan, a piece of a Smackdown! ring skirt from 2002-2008, and more which you can see below.
WWE 2K20 will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC October 22nd. More official details and an announcement are slated to come later in the day.
