Microsoft will finally be launching a 500 GB variant of their Xbox 360 console next month (only about a year after the launch of its successor!); retailing for $250, Microsoft is making sure that this will be the SKU that people pick up, as it will come with two free Call of Duty games- Treyarch’s 2012 sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and Infinity Ward’s disappointing entry from last year that kicked off the new gen for Call of Duty somewhat inauspiciously, Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The console and controller in this bundle will also be blue, which is a little odd, but you know what, for that kind of value at that kind of price, I’ll take it!
Also available at some time in the future will be a 500GB hard drive sold separately for the Xbox 360. It is probably not unreasonable to expect that it will go on sale at roughly around the same time as this console does, but we don’t have any official confirmation yet.
