We have a new report from The Verge who state that the next Xbox will be shown in May.
This echoes with Paul Thurrrott’s rumour who said that the Xbox 720 will be revealed on May 21st. They say that Microsoft had originally planned for April 24th event but has kept it on April 21st.
The venue is supposed to be really small and will be focused on providing the first details on the new Xbox. They probably won’t be showing the box like Sony did but that didn’t stop them from making fun of the event and asking where’s the box.
They also say that Microsoft employees are not to talk about the next gen Xbox and it was Orth’s comments that made them send a reminder.
The Xbox will be revealed later this year, and a full unveiling will be done at E3. Windows 8 will play a part as well but we don’t have much information on that.
