CVG is reporting that Microsoft will officially responding to the PS4 in April, where they will unveil their next generation system. Sony went first when it comes to revealing the system, and the conference was a huge hit as you can see from our coverage here.

According to one Sony executive, who refused to be named, Microsoft was caught off-guard by the PS4 reveal. “We definitely ruffled some feathers,” he told the site.

It will be interesting to see how Microsoft counters the PS4 specs released by Sony, as the standout part of that was definitely the GDDR5 RAM. Based on all the leaks so far, the PS4 seems to have an upper edge over the Xbox 720, and April should be a really interesting time for the company.

We will be there to cover it as well. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
