Xbox App on Windows 10 Gets Games DVR

Microsoft bringing over more Xbox One features to Windows 10.

One of the best things that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 brought to the table was the ability to record and save your gameplay, thus ensuring that those awesome, unexpected, and unpredictable moments that occur all too often while you are playing games won’t be lost to just anecdotal evidence.

On Xbox One, this feature is called Games DVR, and now, it appears, it will also be embedded and integrated into Windows 10 on an OS level, since Microsoft is bringing it to their new operating system via the Xbox app.

This news comes to us courtesy of the fact that the newest update for the Xbox app on Windows 10 – we are now on version 3.3, in case you were wondering – brings about this update. In addition to that, there is also a new ‘Connect to Xbox’ button, and improvements to the feed.

As of right now, we don’t know when Windows 10 will be releasing, but you can get a beta version, should you like it. Like the final release itself, it shall be free.
