Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Will Have Opening Keynote at D.I.C.E. 2018

Other speakers include figures from Valve and Ubisoft.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer will be delivering the opening keynote at DICE 2018, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has confirmed. Spencer’s opening keynote will entail a talk titled “Building a Living and Learning Company Culture”, where he will discuss how Microsoft is continuing to grow and evolve, and how that informs and will continue to inform their business strategy going forward.

Spencer will not be the only industry personality speaking at the event either- additional speakers confirmed for the event include Chet Faliszek, Creative Director at Bossa Studios and previously writer at Valve, who will be present a talk named “AI for Storytelling, discussing the use of Artificial Intelligence to create player driven stories, and Lidwine Sauer, Director of Insights and Trends for Ubisoft’s Strategic Innovation Lab, who will be talking about cross industry innovation.

DICE itself, meanwhile, will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, between February 20th and 22nd 2018.
