Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction

Developers: Pandemic Studios
Publishers: LucasArts

With North Korea and surrounding areas close to an all out nuclear war, three mercenaries look to resolve the conflict before massive global destructions become a reality, not just a possibility. Gamers have the choice of playing as one of the three mercenaries who are airdropped into North Korea. Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction plays out similar to the Grand Theft Auto series but with a military spin.

By helping certain factions with different missions, players earn money that can be used for airdrops packed from vehicles to weapons. By accepting different military contracts each faction can lower or raise their perception of you. If the perception is dropped too low, missions will not be offered and bounties will be placed for your head. Depending on what factions you help, gamers can receive different endings which means you’ll be replaying the video game a few times to see just how the story ends fully.
