Psi-Ops is a third-person shooter but tossed into the mix is psychic abilities. The game opens up with our protagonist Nick Scryer willingly wiping his memory in order to infiltrate and take down a terrorist organization. Throughout the game, Nick Scryer slowly regains his memory and psychic abilities as he takes down the terrorist group and former operatives that have defected from the Psi-Ops organization.
Players will have several abilities such as telekinesis and pyrokinesis unlocked through the game all of which were a blast to use when fighting off the enemy. Unfortunately the game ends on a cliffhanger and with Midway Games now closed, it’s likely we won’t see a sequel released but this is one franchise that held some great potential and I would love to replay once again.
