During its show at TGS 2021, Microsoft has announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming will now be available in four new regions – Australia, Japan, Mexico, and Brazil. In an accompanying Xbox Wire blog post, Microsoft has mentioned that it’s just another step forward in the company’s vision for the service.

As announced at TGS 2021, and fans should be able to access the service in these regions starting from October 1. Xbox Cloud Gaming is a part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, costing $14.99 and including Xbox Game Pass for both PC and Xbox (of course).

Xbox Cloud Gaming has been growing steadily in recent months, with Xbox replacing its server blades to Xbox Series X consoles, which would allow for streaming games with better visual fidelity. Sony has been playing catch-up in this regard, as the console manufacturer just recently filed a patent for allowing PS5 games to be streamed on PS Now. Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming days.
